Atlantic Coast Entertainment... has been  the leader in wedding reception entertainment since 1983. Thousands of weddings later, Atlantic Coast continues to be in very high demand.  Rest assured that only our "Wedding Certified" entertainers are chosen for your wedding reception. This  is  necessary  because  weddings  require  such  delicate expertise in music programming and event coordination. We  listen very closely to your goals, ideas, and feelings, to ensure that we make your  "Special Day"  as perfect as you envision it.

Something To Think About

With all the new technology available these days, anybody can download thousands of songs and music videos on their computer or iPod, but that DOES NOT make them an ENTERTAINER! Remember they can't download Experience, Personality or Talent! Don't let your next event or party big or small be the training site for a new or inexperienced Disc Jockey. Atlantic Coast Entertainment has more entertainers to choose from and we can find the perfect fit and personality for your Wedding Reception. Also all our Entertainers are Wedding Certified and trained solely by the staff  of Atlantic Coast Entertainment, where they are tested weekly to keep their skill level sharp and their music knowledge current.

 

     

 

Atlantic Coast Entertainment has many different styles and configurations of DJ booths, screens, lighting, uplighting, event lighting and special effects to go with your specific wedding theme.

Wedding Reception Packages

  • Silver Reception Package includes: a "Wedding Certified" DJ / MC / Entertainer, a Professional Sound System, Wireless Microphones for the Blessing And Toasts from virtually anywhere at the reception, and you get to meet with the actual DJ / Entertainer that will perform at your reception, as many times as you need to, prior to your event in our office. 

  • Gold Reception Package  includes: everything that the Silver Reception Package includes plus a Full Professional Lightshow (including Lasers) and Special Effects (like Bubbles, Smoke, & Haze)

  • Platinum Wedding Reception Package includes: ACE (Master) Entertainer and Music Videos, up to (2) Plasma, LCD, or 3 x 4' Video Screens, with a "video camera" on the dance floor so your guests can  view your dance floor from most anywhere and never miss any of the action! ( "Video Camera" is stationary and mounted to the screen supports...this is so when you look up at the screen from the dance floor you can see yourself and all the action around you.) Laser Lighting and a plus a Professional "Low Level" fog machine that has an effect just like dry ice to make it look as if your dancing amongst the clouds, a "Follow Spot" for your bridal party and Grand Entrance (if desired), mood lighting for dinner (also referred to as the Ooh-Ahh® effect), and the addition of a complete "DMX" operated computerized light show that will amaze you and your guests. 

  • Bridal Show Special Pricing Package includes: a Expert or Pro "Wedding Certified" DJ / MC / Entertainer, a Professional Sound System, Wireless Microphones for the Blessing And Toasts from virtually anywhere at the reception, and you get to meet with the actual DJ / Entertainer that will perform at your reception, as many times as you need to, prior to your event in our office. Also included is a Basic Lightshow suitable for most any location.

Please Note: The Platinum Reception Package is only available for one event booking per day...so it is booked on a first come, first served basis. The minimum ceiling height needed using the truss mounted 6' x 8' screen is 8 feet and a 14 foot area behind the screen is needed for rear projection (3300 lumen) or 2 1/2 feet for a short throw projector (1000 lumen). We also need at least 2.5 to 3 hours of set up time prior to the event and at least 1.5 to 2 hours of breakdown time after the event.

Discounts and Other Useful Information...

Off Peak Discounts

In New England we have 2 primary Wedding Seasons...Spring and Fall. The Spring Wedding Season is the months of April through July and the Fall Wedding Season is the months of September and October. If your wedding date is not in any of these 6 months, or if it is not on a Saturday (Sunday through Friday)...ask for your **Off Peak Discount. **Off Peak Discounts apply to any day, including Saturdays, in the months of January, February, March & November. Off Peak Discounts CANNOT  be applied to any Holiday or Holiday weekend  event(s).

Travel Charge

There is no travel charge for...any event within a 30 mile radius from our main office located in Groton Connecticut...There will be a travel charge for...events beyond the 30 mile radius (See below for pricing). 

Setup Charge

All the prices listed are for events at "Easy Access" venues. Atlantic Coast Entertainment does not charge a fee for "set-up or breakdown time" before and after your event at most reception locations which are considered "Easy Access" venues.

"Easy Access" is best described as being able to load equipment on hand carts and wheel it in the building to the location of use without having to negotiate stairs.  

"Easy Access" is also described as having the use of elevated ramps (for wheeling hand carts with heavy equipment into elevated buildings), or having the use of an elevator or dumb waiter (to move hand carts with heavy equipment into elevated buildings). 

However, there will be a "Difficult Venue Setup Charge" if... your event is at a location, including but not limited to, Mohegan Sun Casino, Foxwoods Casino, New London Elks Lodge, Westerly Elks Lodge, Mystic Yachting Center, Oswegatchie Fire Company #4, Bozrah Volunteer Fire House or any other location that does not have easy access...
("which includes buildings with only "a few stairs") for bringing in and setting up the equipment. 

Strict Budget

Keep This In Mind...If you are planning on having a very simple wedding service and/or reception but, you are on a limited / strict budget, ... give us a call and we  will  work with you to help you plan your event and also try and help you stay within your budget.

Also... Remember your "Entertainment" is the MOST important element of one of the most important days of your life.  Your guests may not remember the "Ice Sculpture" or what kind of "Cheese Platter" or "Hors d'oeuvres" were there, but they will remember the music, the entertainer and how much they danced. The entertainer you choose will make or break your event. If we are "closed out" and unable to provide you with an entertainer on your reception day or for whatever reason you choose not to book your event with the Wedding Professionals at Atlantic Coast Entertainment...PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR...and check out the skill level of the entertainer you have chosen. 

Disc Jockey Pricing

Pro Entertainer*

For the client who has the need of an entertainer for a less complicated event, Atlantic Coast Entertainment's Pro entertainers will be the perfect fit. Each Pro Entertainer has at least 2 years of experience performing at Wedding Receptions the Atlantic Coast Entertainment way. But rest assured they have plenty more experience entertaining at all the different types of events that we do here from simple backyard BBQ's to Corporate events. We have the right entertainer for every budget but most importantly we try to fit the entertainer with the personality of the client. *Uplighting, Monograms, and events requiring 2 system setups are are NOT available to those who book a Pro Entertainer. Also Pro Entertainers are not an option at certain venues.

Expert Entertainer

Atlantic Coast Entertainment's Expert Entertainers have at least 5 years of experience performing at Wedding Receptions. Our Expert entertainers are perfect for clients looking for an entertainer that can handle their more complex event. The experience level of our Expert entertainers gives our clients added peace of mind. With many entertainers to choose from, we can always find the perfect personality to match our clients needs. (See pricing table below)

ACE Entertainer

Atlantic Coast Entertainment's ACE (Master) Entertainers have over 10 years of experience performing at Wedding Receptions and every other type of event imaginable. Our Ace Entertainers are our highest level entertainers and they are in high demand due to their ability to adapt to changes in your multifaceted event at a moments notice. Their professionalism on a microphone is unparalleled. If you are looking for the very best choose an Atlantic Coast Entertainment ACE Entertainer. (See pricing table below)

**Please note that Bridal Show pricing may be used to book Expert and Pro Entertainers but does not apply to Master Entertainer staff members. Off Peak Discounts can be applied to ACE, Expert and Pro Entertainer packages but not combined with Facebook coupons or Bridal Show special pricing.

***Please note the changes in our current reception pricing as of January 1, 2019.*** We will honor all existing contracts with price quotes given prior to our changes and all "off-peak" discounts, Bridal Show contest winners and special coupon holders. Any event falling on a holiday or holiday weekend is subject to a holiday pricing surcharge. Bridal Show Prices are good for Attendees of any Bridal Shows that Atlantic Coast Entertainment has appeared at in 2018-2019 until May 1st 2019. After May 1, 2019 our regular pricing will be as stated in the price column below.

**Bridal Show Special Pricing 2018-2019 Season (Good for all Bridal Show Attendees from Jan 1 to April 15)

Coupons and any discounts are NOT appliable to any of our Dream Wedding Packages. Bridal Show Special Pricing may allow for either the Facebook discount after friending us or the offpeak discount of if it applies to your event date or if your event does not fall on a Saturday. You my apply either discount if it applies to you , but not both. If you saw us at a bridal show and did not receive your special bridal show pricing, just give our office a call at 860-448-3548.

 

 

Current Bridal Show Pricing

The Engagement Session Package consists of one photographer taking your Engagement pictures  for up to 2 hours. You have your choice of of up to two locations with a mixture of casual candid and posed images lasting up to 2 hours including travel between locations. *All of your High-Resolution photos are given to you on a customized DVD and you will have reproduction rights released to you (for your **personal use), so you can print as many copies as you wish.
