 Home Up

Jonathan's Bar Mitzvah took place at the Lighthouse Inn in New London, Connecticut on April 12,  2008.

We started the afternoon off with a race! A Razor Race!

Two teams...

Complicated headgear...

...and pure unadulterated CONFUSION!

Cool things down with Tug O'War.

Boys and girls on one side and then boys and Rabbi Rosenberg on the other. Which side won? Jonathan's of course!

Death by Numbers.

Stick with the girls.

Moving along to a small game of Coke & Pepsi.

Strut your stuff guys.

Fruit Roll Up!

Remember: slow and steady wins the game of 21.

They're all really close...

The girls reign victorious!

The boys make sure to knock over ALL the cups when it's over.

Jonathan looks like he's having a good time with Pinhead.

That looks too painful.

Started with ten and only five finalists. They're insane!

We thought we'd let the boys get the blood flowing back to they're face so we tamed it down a bit with a scavenger hunt
Yes, they had to find a stick that looked like an animal, and not a snake.

The guests then came in for formalities and we discovered a little rock star.

The Candle Lighting commenced.

Jonathan's family was very proud of him.

He was pretty happy himself, lighting the last candle.

Then there was the Hora!

Jonathan goes up.

Lori is having fun with her friends and family.

Continuing the games with musical chairs.

I gets crazy but in the end Jonathan wins.

The balloon stomp.

Protect your teams balloons in the game of ACE Extreme Elimination Challenge.

Look at the red teams goalie work!

Ending the afternoon with dodgeball.

Traditional dodgeball was too easy for these guys. We made it a little harder with the foam hands.

Jonathan's Bar Mitzvah turned out to be a lot of fun!

Mazel Tov Jonathan!
