Fields

 Home Up

Matthew Fields's Bar Mitzvah took place at The Mystic Marriott in Groton, Connecticut May 16, 2009. He had a Disney Themed party full of fun, games and of course dancing!

A good time was had by all at Matthew's celebration!

What's a party without a little Freeze Dance?

The pressure's on when you have to close your eyes, put your hands on your hips and do your best disco move....

There was no break in the action... we moved onto Walla Balla!!

It's always challenging...

How hard can it be to put a little ball into one of three hoops? It was extremely hard!!!

The girls were the most skillful.

But the boys pulled together and helped "THINK" the ball home...ZEN!

A break in the games gave them time for the candle lighting.

Mazel Tov Matthew!

The floor was cleared for a game known as the Marshmallow Run!

Somebody gon' get stickay!

The Fields Brothers racing to the finish...

Unfortunately, there was a tie, so whatever team caught the marshmallow in their mouth...won!

Many a marshmallow was lost and fell in their journey to reach a mouth...

Almost! Use your mouth not your hands!!!

No luck this time...lets try one more time!

This time it was caught by William...or was it Lucas? Well, it was one of the twins...

After the floor was thoroughly wiped down it was time for...

Dodge Balls of Fury !!!

Ready...

GO!!!

It got extreme!

The party moved on to a vigorous and very long game of Unwrap the Gift

First box almost gone...

The game LOOKS calm now...just wait...

First layer down...

"You guys hold it I'm pulled pull it!"

Friends helping friends open a gift...

People getting crazy to get that prize!

Because we couldn't figure out who was supposed to win the prize...we solved it with a tie breaker...

How about trivia game on how well you know Matthew?

The scores got pretty high...

The guesses were pretty random most of the time.

In the end on e of twins prevailed over Matthew himself!

Matthew performed a Tap Dance for his family and friends

It was a great performance by Matthew and Louise.

It just wouldn't be a party without Limbo!

Everyone knows how to Limbo!

We winded down the night with a little dancing...

What an Animal House...

The Traditional Hora...

Matthew lifted on a chair in celebration.

The other guests wanting to be lifted as well, didn't have much help though...

Guests having a good time with the Hora.

Enjoying themselves on this festive occasion!

Everyone had a great time!

Matthew danced with his mother.

The night came to a close with New York, New York.
